'Racist' social media post prompts high school student protest at Eastern Tech High school Thursday morning.

Earlier today, more than 200 students gathered inside the school lobby at Eastern Tech after a student posted a photo with derogatory language, according to Baltimore County Public Schools Spokesperson Mychael Dickerson.

The viral post also included remarks that read, "Baseball is a white man's sports"  and  "I love my school".

"This incident is the first of it's kind at the school that I am aware of ", said Mychael Dickerson.

Although the school was unable to provide specifics on the students involved, disciplinary actions were taken against a couple of students.

Following the morning protest, several teachers honored student requests to continue the conversation about incident inside their classrooms.
