Baltimore - Not much was going on Sunday night in the Willow Hill Community in Baltimore County, but it was a much different story around 8PM Friday.
"We responded to a home in the unit block of Travis Court in Rosedale for an injured subject,” said Baltimore County Police Corporal John Wachter.
Police aren't saying much about what happened, but neighbors tell ABC 2 News that multiple officers and the fire department swarmed the cul-de-sac.
"They found a 33-year-old pregnant female with multiple injuries, she was declared deceased at the scene," Wachter said.
According to officials, the expectant mother's injuries were serious, but that's all they will say. The unborn baby could not be saved.
"The baby was full term, unfortunately the baby did not survive," said Wachter.
He says at least one other person was home when the injuries happened, and investigators say that person called 911. Neighbors tell us the woman lived with her mother.
"This death is currently under investigation by the Baltimore County Homicide Unit," Wachter said.
The body was taken to the State Medical Examiner's Office. Investigators tell us they plan to release much more information about what happened and the woman involved Monday morning.
