Police: Kenwood High School evacuated after threat

ESSEX, Md. - Kenwood High School was evacuated Tuesday morning after a bomb threat was phoned in to the school, but no credible threat to safety was found by police.

The call was made shortly before 7:50 a.m. Tuesday and students and the principal decided to evacuate the school, according to Baltimore County Police.

Police determined the school was safe and students and staff were allowed to return to the building shortly before 9:30 a.m.
