TIMONIUM, Md. - Police received calls New Year's Day for three separate incidents believed to have happened at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Timonium.
Officials say the first call came in at around 1:45 a.m. for an assault. A person punched a security guard while being escorted out of a New Year's party.
Minutes later, a call was put in for an adult male who overdosed at the hotel. He was taken to the hospital.
About an hour after that call, 2:47 a.m., a call came in for a stabbing at the hotel. Officers and medics were reportedly arrived to the scene but couldn't find anyone.
But, about an hour later the Baltimore (city) Police Department called the county and said they had a walk-in stabbing victim at Sinai Hospital. The wound of the victim was described as "serious."
Police say they can only connect the 1:45 a.m. assault to the hotel's New Year's Eve party.
