Baltimore County Police say a dead woman was found in the home where an unattended 3-year-old girl lived.

Shortly before 10:30 p.m. Sunday, police say a 3-year-old girl was found in the 3900 block of Hollins Ferry Road.

Police asked the public for help identifying the girl, whose name police believed might be “Jacia” and possibly go by the nickname “Sissy.”

Before noon on Monday, police announced on Twitter that the girl lives in the 2900 block of Freeway and a woman was found dead inside the home.

A death investigation is underway and no foul play is suspected.

Around 2 a.m. Monday, police found an eight-year-old boy in the 9500 block of Pulaski Highway in Middle River. He has since been reunited with his family Monday morning, police said.

Police say so far there has been no indication that the cases are related.
