Officials say Amtrak Train 147 came in contact with a teen on an ATV around 3:19 p.m. Sunday Afternoon in Essex.

A representative said there were about 330 passengers on the train at the time of the incident.

There were no passenger or crew member injuries reported.

Baltimore County Police say there were at least three teens involved in this incident. Two were on ATVs and the other was on a motorbike.

The injured teen was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police are unsure if the injury came from hitting the train or avoiding the train.

Service has been temporarily suspended while Amtrak and local authorities investigate this incident, expect delays.
