One dead after Northeast Baltimore house fire

One of the three women hospitalized after a fire in Northeast Baltimore Thursday morning has died, according to Baltimore City Fire Department spokesman Ian T. Brennan.
Tracy Williams, 43, passed away Friday afternoon. Brennan said her cause of death is still under investigation by the medical examiner’s office.
Firefighters were called to a house in the 2900 block of Glendale Ave. near Harford Road after 4 a.m. Thursday. Upon arrival, crews found two women hanging from windows. Firefighters rescued the two women then went inside, where they found a third woman.
Crews subdued the flames by 5:30 a.m., but remained on scene to quell hot spots in the house. Officials believe all occupants escaped the home.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
