WESTMINSTER, Md. - Hundreds of people came to pay their respects to a firefighter who died during a training exercise last week.
The memorial visitation for Baltimore County firefighter Robert Fogle took place at the Pleasant Valley Fire Co., where he served as a volunteer. The funeral is set for tomorrow morning at 10, at the same location.
Fogle died on May 30, after he went into cardiac arrest during a training exercise at the county training academy in Sparrows Point.
A 27-year veteran of the department, Fogle was based at the Pikesville station. He had also been a volunteer for more than 30 years at Pleasant Valley in Carroll County.
The Baltimore County Fire Department is still investigating the circumstances surrounding his death.
