Baltimore County Circuit Court convicted 46-year-old Timothy McCargo to 40 years in prison after a recent kidnapping incident on April 26th.
According to the State's Attorney's Office, McCargo was convicted for entering the home of an elderly couple in Pikesville.
They say he forced the elderly man into a bedroom at gunpoint and tied both of the resident's wrists with a belt. He then escaped with the couples car after he stole a phone, money, jewelry, guns and ammunition from their home.
Officials say Baltimore County Police later found the elderly couple's vehicle and located McCargo in Baltimore City where they arrested him.
McCargo was previously convicted and sentenced to 27 years in 1990 for Murder and Robbery in Baltimore.
