An Aberdeen man is dead after an early morning motorcycle crash on Glen Arm Road.
Police say 41-year-old Michael Ruehling was driving south on Glen Arm Road near the intersection of Manor Road when he crashed his motorcycle.
The preliminary information suggests that Ruehling failed to stay on the single lane road and drove off the west side of Glen Arm Road, struck a small post and a mailbox before hitting a curve warning sign post and a concrete footer of a power line tower.
The motorcycle continue and also hit a stone retaining wall at the edge of a driveway.
Ruehling was ejected and came to rest in the southbound lane of Glen Arm Road. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
