The Owings Mills JCC is investigating a bomb threat that came today, similar to a series of threats that have been called in across the nation.
Baltimore County Police say the call came in around 10:08 a.m. for the bomb threat.
Crews responded to the JCC, located at 3506 Gwynnbrook Avenue, around 10:10 a.m. began investigating the call.
Police said the building was not evacuated, but the call was cleared at 11:07 a.m.
A similar call came in at the Harrisburg JCC where approximately 200 people evacuated the building after a call came in shortly after 10:00 a.m. according to WHTM.
Since then, police have cleared the threat and all members and staff have returned to the building.
