DUNDALK, Md. - According to tweets from Baltimore County Fire officials, a haze and odor that was reported in the Sparrows Point area does not appear to pose a threat to the public's health.
Fire officials investigated the odor after calls came in just before 11:00 a.m. As a precaution, several schools in the Dundalk area were put on alert.
Reports came in that residents smelled bleach and saw a haze over the neighborhood.
Before noon, they were back on regular status.
