Four people were hurt, one seriously, after a fire swept through a Pikesville home Sunday morning.
Baltimore County Fire Department Spokesperson Capt. Julia Dillard said fire crews responded to the one-alarm fire in the 7000 block of Alden Road just before 6 a.m.
When fire crews arrived, witnesses said one person was trapped in the home. Firefighters rescued the victim who was taken to Sinai Hospital with life threatening injuries.
Three other civilians were taken to Northwest Hospital with minor injuries.
Fire investigators are working to determine the cause of the blaze.
