Essex man charged in Middle River bar stabbing

MIDDLE RIVER, Md. - An Essex man was arrested and charged in connection to a stabbing this past winter in Middle River.

Baltimore County police said Thomas Langley, 28, was arrested on March 20 and is charged with first-degree assault, second-degree assault, and dangerous weapon with intent to injure for the Jan. 31 incident at the Bonfire Bar.

Police said at 9:19 p.m. on the night in question, responded to the 3700 block of White Pine Road in Middle River for a report of a stabbing and found a man suffering with multiple stab wounds.

The initial investigation into this incident has indicated that the victim and the suspect were at the Bonfire Bar at 601 Bowleys Quarters Rd. when they became involved in an argument. Both the victim and the suspect went outside at which time the suspect stabbed the victim. The suspect then fled the scene.

Langley is being held at the Baltimore County Detention Center on $250,000 bail.
