Delivering ice in the winter a challenge

No matter the temperature, ice is delivered.

As temperatures drop into the teens, those working at Charm City Ice become worried about the the thing that secures their livelihood.

"You just do what you've got to do and deliver the ice and try to stay warm," says owner Kathy McLane. "The drivers load the trucks at a very cold point in the morning, they start their delivery and from there, you know we hope to get them back before it gets chillier at night."

McLane says it's a challenge to deliver ice in the winter.
