Baltimore County Fire Department Rescue, EMS, and a team of doctors reported to the scene of an overturned truck accident early Friday afternoon on Black Rock Road near Falls Road.
According to officials, a team of doctors also known as the "GO" team was accompanied by mutual aid units from Carroll County to assist Baltimore County Fire Department rescue personnel in extracting the two people from the vehicle. They say it took them more than 2 hours to release the critically injured passenger from the vehicle.
The passenger was later transported to R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center suffering from life-threatening injuries.
Police say the driver of the vehicle who was identified as 33-year-old Thomas Wayne Crawford was pronounced dead at the scene.
Baltimore County Police are investigating the incident.
