About 200 firefighters are on the scene of a three-alarm fire at Adell Plastics, a plastic manufacturing plant in the Baltimore Highlands area.

The fire is expected to continue for the next several hours, firefighters said. An insurance adjuster told ABC2 News the loss to the business is in the millions of dollars. Dozens of workers were displaced, but none were injured. One firefighter was taken to an area hospital for smoke inhalation.

The call came in shortly after 1 p.m.  at the plant in the 4500 block of Annapolis Road, said Lt. Paul Massarelli with the Baltimore County Fire Department.

Three buildings were involved in the fire, and partial wall collapses were reported.

Clouds of smoke could be seen from the beltway.
