Cindi Jacob and Corey Maro wanted a winter wedding. They selected their date over a year ago - January 23, 2016. The ceremony and reception were schedule at the Sheraton in Towson, Md.
Little did the couple know that Mother Nature had other plans this weekend.
"She wanted a winter weekend and she got it," said Cindi's mom, Cathy. "A little snow would have been nice, but not this much."
Cindi could have rescheduled, but after months of planning and preparation, she decided there was no going back and she was going to get married, you don't just change your wedding date.
It will be a smaller crowd than anticipated, but family and friends have had fun being snowed in together. Family from Ohio arrived before the storm hit.
Cathy said that the Sheraton's wedding coordinator has been fantastic in executing every ceremony and reception detail even with the blizzard conditions.
One thing is for sure, this will certainly be a wedding to remember.
