People aged 17 and under will not be allowed inside, and officers will be outside checking ID's as a policy change at the Towson Town Center mall is announced, and will mean big changes for a lot of our area's youth.
Outside the mall, we asked passers-by what they thought about the malls new policy barring certain teenagers from entering on weekends.
"If your parents are okay with it, then you should be able to if you want. Like, if they let you, it shouldn't be a big deal," said one 18-year-old standing at a bus stop.

And then we met 17-year-old James Young who was going to the mall to buy a backpack and didn't know the policy existed until we told him.
"I don't like it. It's crazy. It should be (open for anyone to get in). You don't got to be an age to get into the mall. Everybody got money. You're spending your money. I'm spending my money though."
The policy, itself, goes into effect Sept. 16 weeks from now, and what that means is that anyone under the age of 17 will not be allowed inside the mall on Friday's or Saturday's after 5 p.m., that is, unless they're with a parent or guardian.
After a December incident when police say a crowd of teens pelted them with rocks, the policy has the full support of police.
"The issue here was that there were times when there were just too many people who were unsupervised," said Elise Armacost, a spokesperson for the Baltimore County Police and Fire.
But if there were an opinion split on this issue, it'd be along the lines of parents and kids.
"It improves supervision or a parents sense that there are standards where they leave their kids," said Angela Larosa, a parent who was on her way to a movie with her kids.
"I don't like it. I say i don't like it. I hope they change it. I hope i don't walk in and someone kicks me out," Young said.
