CATONSVILLE - The Catonsville Fourth of July parade was a hit again this year.
Karen Bonham, a Catonsville resident, was one of many parade goers pleased with the weather.
"It's a perfect Fourth of July. It's beautiful," Bonham said.
Bonham and a friend were seated in the shade of a tent along the parade route Friday afternoon, enjoying the light breeze, seasonable temperatures and the absence of rain.
"It's not as hot as last year, definitely more enjoyable," Bonham said.
The parade is an annual tradition for many people, like Colin Armstrong.
Armstrong and his wife both grew up in Catonsville and the couple currently lives there along with their 4-year-old son. The whole family was out enjoying the festivities Friday.
"We've never missed a parade," Armstrong said.
