A car flipped over and hit a gas pump at the Carroll Fuel gas station in Parkville Monday morning.
Crews responded to scene at Old Harford Road and Putty Hill Avenue.
The driver, and only occupant, was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The intersection has reopened to traffic.

A man who lives nearby says there have been crashes at that location before and is shocked it wasn't worse.
"People are cutting people off all the time, trying to get through the light, not stop and speeding," said Brandon Morris. "I'm surprised the pump didn't explode because it hit the pump and knocked it over."
Police have not released the name of the driver or what caused the crash.
