Car crashes into Pikesville Rite Aid injuring 2

Two people were injured after an SUV crashed through the front of a Rite Aid pharmacy Friday morning in Pikesville.

Baltimore County Police and paramedics were called to the Rite Aid store in the 1400 block of Reisterstown Road for reports of a crash just before 9:30 a.m.

Police believe a Toyota 4Runner was backing out of a parking space when it backed into a Chrysler Minivan.  The 4Runner then pulled forward, and backed up again hitting a Dodge truck.  When the 4Runner when forward the second time, it drove through the front of the Rite Aid.

The driver of the 4Runner and a person in the pharmacy were transported to Sinai Hospital for minor injuries, police said.

The driver's identity has not been released or if they face any charges.

Police are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash.
