BALTIMORE - It's business as usual at Johns Hopkins today.
Officials with the hospital say all hospitals will remain open throughout the storm.
"Our priority is always to provide the best possible care for our patients and their families. At the same time, we also want to ensure the safety and well-being of our employees. Our crisis coordinators practice and prepare for adverse events, including weather events year round, and we have been planning for Sandy for several days," said Johns Hopkins associate director of communications Kim Hoppe.
Patients with questions or concerns about an appointment or procedure should call their physician's office.
