In real estate the saying is location, location, location. The same can be said for your job and the salary that comes with it. Forbes has released its annual list of the best cities for women to work, and Baltimore ranks in the top 20.
Forbes uses data from the U.S. Census to compile its list of best places for women to work. Baltimore ranked number 16, with an average salary of $47,000.
The number one city is Washington D.C., where a woman makes an average salary of $57,128. That's triple the amount a woman makes in the worst paying city of Opelousas, La., which is $21,658.
