Baltimore County Public Schools will allow the community's input and ideas to name the new northeast area elementary school under construction in Perry Hall.

According to officials, they are accepting nominations starting Monday until Friday, November 3rd. The public is encouraged to submit names using the online form on www.survey.bcps.org.

Upon the conclusion of nominations, Baltimore Co. Public Schools' officials will choose the top two choices and submit those to the Superintendent of Baltimore Co. Schools for review and compliance. The final considerations will be sent to the Board of Education for a recommendation.

Officials say submissions must meet the school system and Board of Education criteria to be considered. The public can locate full details on the criteria at ww.bcps.org under Baltimore County Board of Education Policy and Rule.
