Baltimore County students could wind up having class on two Jewish holidays next year.

The school board is debating the 2018-2019 calendar. They've come up with two proposals, one option has schools opening on Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.

There will be a public comment period on the calendar proposals at the Baltimore County school board's meeting on Tuesday, October 10th.

The board is set to vote on the final version of the 2018-2019 school calendar in the coming weeks.
