The Aquila Randall Monument in Dundalk turns 200 years old on Friday

There will be a ceremony of remembrance at the site to honor the occasion.

The monument is a tribute of respect to Randall, who was killed in the Battle of North Point on September 12, 1814.

This is the second oldest known military monument in Maryland and third oldest in the United States.
