A day that most of us will never forget is approaching in just a couple days.
September 11 is a day of remembrance, and over 80 people in Parkville are doing their part in honoring those lost on that tragic day.
ROTC members, students of Parkville High School and more are placing 2,977 flags along Putty Avenue in Parkville Friday morning. Each flag represents a life lost on 9/11.

The flags will go from Old Harford to Harford roads.
A Field of Honor will also be setup with 145 flags. Each flag honors people from Maryland who have lost their life fighting in the war on terrorism since 9/11.
