3 people seriously hurt in I-95 crash

WHITE MARSH, MD - Three people were rushed to the hospital with serious injuries following a multi-vehicle crash on I-95 Sunday evening.

Maryland State Police say they were called out to I-95 between Rossville Blvd and I-695 around 9:00 p.m.

Five cars were involved in the crash that shut down several southbound lanes for nearly two hours, police explained.

The crash victims rushed to the hospital suffered what emergency crews call non-life threatening injures.

Lanes reopened around 10:45 p.m. after all of the cars involved were towed away.

State police have not confirmed if speed or weather played a factor in the accident.
