A brother and sister who went missing in western Pennsylvania have been found in Baltimore County.
Gianna Smith, 15, and Mitchell Smith, 12, of Indiana, Penn. disappeared from their foster home sometime between 11:30 p.m. Thursday and 3 a.m. Friday.
Pennsylvania State Police issued an Amber alert Friday afternoon. Police were especially concerned about Gianna who they said is autistic and non-verbal.
The two were found Sunday night in Towson.
Police haven’t stated where the children were located or who found them. Both are currently in the custody of Baltimore County Child Services.
A criminal investigation is being handled by local police in Pennsylvania.
