BALTIMORE - Baltimore County Police are investigating two separate shootings that happened five hours and less than five miles apart.
In the first incident, police were called to the area of Cassandra and Allenswood roads around 11:30 p.m. Monday night in response to a shooting.
When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from injuries. He was taken to an area hospital for treatment. His wounds did not appear to be life-threatening, police said.
In the second incident, police were called to the Langrehr Road area in Windsor Mill around 4:30 a.m. Tuesday for a reported shooting.
Officers found a man at the scene suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was also taken to a local hospital for treatment of injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening, police said.
No arrests had been made as of 5:30 a.m. and police do not believe there is a greater threat to the community in connection with either shooting.
Police do not believe the two incidents are related. Both shootings remain under investigation.
