The pilot of a helicopter and one passenger were injured in a crash on Sunday afternoon following a hard landing.
Maryland State Police along with Baltimore County police and the Department of Natural Resources police responded to helicopter crash in Hart-Miller Island.
When the officials arrived to the scene both the unidentified pilot and passenger had sustained minor injuries.
The helicopter, a Brantley 2-B experienced a mechanical problem while in flight. The pilot said that he tried to fix the problem, but was unsuccessful and decided to make a "hard landing."
The FAA and NTSB were notified about the helicopter incident.
At this time, the Maryland State Police Criminal Enforcement Division (North Region) are continuing to gather facts.
