First Lady Yumi Hogan joined the Maryland Department of Veterans Affairs for their Memorial Day ceremony at the Korean War Memorial.
The ceremony included a time capsule dedication, wreath laying and Ceremony of Remembrance.
Yumi Hogan was born in South Korea and is the first Korean first lady of any state in the U.S. She says she and the people of Korea are eternally grateful for the soldiers who paid the ultimate price to bring freedom to a country that wasn't their own.
The time capsule contains pictures from Korean War Veterans and will be opened in 2117.
