A GoFundMe page is trending in Baltimore. Kaitlyn wanted to help the man who returned her stolen purse.

Aeric is a recovering heroin addict who's trying to turn his life around. He found Kaitlyn's purse in an alley near Upton Market and wanted to return it to her. His good deed started a friendship.

He told Kaitlyn he's a recovering heroin addict and wanted to get help for his daughter. He said he looked up a place in Florida that would help. As a thank you for returning her purse, Kaitlyn bought Aeric's plane ticket to Fort Myers, Florida.

This was all a few weeks ago. Now Aeric is transitioning to a half-way house. The new facility will cost $450 per month and Aeric will have to be there at least two months.

Kaitlyn started the GoFundMe page to raise $2,000. The response has been so overwhelming, she's raised the amount to $6,500 and as of Tuesday afternoon, more than $6,300 has been raised.
