A woman has been taken to the hospital with serious injuries after somehow falling into a manhole and becoming trapped early Sunday morning.
A Baltimore City Fire Department unit was called to the intersection of Pearl St & W Lexington St around 4:30am for a report of a woman trapped. Officers found she had fallen and become trapped in the 10-foot manhole that conducts steam.
They were able to get her out and she was taken to an area hospital.
