The wife of Baltimore Attorney Warren Brown launched a foundation for her slain son in honor of his 23rd birthday Saturday afternoon.
Donyelle Brown, son Louis “Cody” Young was killed just three months ago outside a gas station in Baltimore. The 22-year-old was shot multiple times while sitting in a car.

In honor of the slain man’s memory his mother, Brown started the Cody Young Foundation.
This foundation is geared toward creating a community of positive minded individuals who have passion and the determination to excel in all areas of their lives.
Brown believes love is the antidote needed to fight violence in Baltimore.
The celebration was opened to the community. Attendees enjoyed face painting, haircuts, food and football conditioning activities.
Through her son’s legacy Brown hopes Young’s foundation will create a powerful movement that will move Baltimore in a positive direction.
