Two hurt in Baltimore house fire

BALTIMORE - Two people were hurt in a house fire in West Baltimore on Tuesday morning.

Crews got the call around 5:40. They arrived to find a fire burning inside a three story home on Belleville Avenue, in the Gwynn Oak neighborhood. The fire was knocked out soon after 8 a.m., but firefighters continued to search for hot spots and hidden fire in the wooden structure.

A Baltimore City Fire Department spokesperson said that both victims were burned, treated by paramedics, and sent to Bayview Burn Center.

One of the victim's injuries were listed as priority one (more serious) and the other's were less severe and listed as priority tow.

The cause of the fire is still unknown.
