Town halls to address crime concerns

BALTIMORE - Mayor Stephanie Rawlings Blake and Police Commissioner Anthony Batts announced a series of town halls designed to address citizen’s crime concerns Saturday.

The public safety town hall tour kicks off in West Baltimore on March 12. The town halls, which will travel to each police district, will give people a forum to address concerns about homicides, shootings and violent crime in the city.

According to the mayor’s office, the town halls are designed to inform residents about crime initiatives as well as contribute to a strategic plan to reduce crime.
