BALTIMORE - Maryland Department of the Environment officials are looking for a tool with some radioactive material that was reported stolen in Baltimore.
MDE said in a release the tool, used to measure the amount of lead in paint, was reported stolen after 2:30 p.m. on Monday. It went missing from the 2600 block of East Monument Street after it was used in an inspection.
The tool only has a small amount of radioactive material and MDE said it poses no imminent threat to the public.
