Three people were injured when the roof of a synagogue where they were working partially collapsed, the Baltimore City Fire Department said.

Firefighters responded to the collapse in the 3500 block of Clarks Lane in Baltimore's Cross Country neighborhood at 12:15 p.m.

The three people injured were all contractors working on the single-story building currently under construction. They were all transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, fire officials said.

The cause of the collapse is under investigation.
