Shipt and Target are teaming up to offer same-day delivery in Baltimore and Washington, D.C.
The new partnership gives nearly 2.9 million households access to Target products delivered by Shipt in as little as one hour.
New members who sign up before March 29 will receive an annual membership for $49. The regular yearly membership cost is $99.
The delivery service will start on March 29.
Using an app, customers can note preferences, choose a one-hour delivery window and pay for their order. Shipt's team of shoppers takes care of selecting, bagging and delivering the items.
The annual membership grants access to free, unlimited delivery on orders over $35.
