BALTIMORE - A tractor trailer flipped over on southbound I-95 near the Caton Avenue exit on Sunday Afternoon.
Maryland Transportation Authority Police received the call shortly after 2:30 p.m. and responded to the scene.
When they arrived, they found that the truck was leaking fuel onto the roadway. Hazmat was called for cleanup.
All lanes were shut down for approximately five hours until crews were able to clean up the fuel, turn the truck back over and move it off the road.
Preliminary investigations show that the reason truck flipped was because it was traveling too fast for the current weather conditions.
No other cars were involved in the crash and there were no injuries.
