A 45-year-old man was pronounced dead Friday morning after a shooting incident in Northwest Baltimore.
Police responded to the 5700 block of Jonquil Avenue at approximately 5:40 a.m. Officers arrived to find the victim suffering from a gunshot wound to the shoulder. He was taken to Sinai Hospital where he died a short time later.
The investigation shut down Jonquil Avenue between Trainor Avenue and Manhattan Avenue Friday morning.
Homicide detectives are interviewing potential witnesses, but there’s no information on a suspect or a motive at this time.
