BALTIMORE (AP) - The Baltimore Board of Elections has completed its final vote count in last week's Democratic primary.

Catherine Pugh, state senator and owner of a public relations firm, maintained her victory as the city's democratic nominee for mayor with a total of 48,665 votes, while her closest opponent, former mayor Sheila Dixon, received 46,219 votes in total.

Dixon said earlier this week that she did not concede the election.

The results are unofficial, and will be certified Monday.

The board completed its count on Friday. There were roughly 7,000 provisional ballots and 3,800 absentee ballots to be tallied. Of that number roughly 2,800 ballots were disqualified.
