BALTIMORE (AP) - Congressman Elijah Cummings will co-host a town hall meeting on police reforms in Baltimore.

Cummings, a Maryland Democrat, will join Sherrilyn Ifill, president of the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, and Donald Tobin, Dean of the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law. They will meet with residents and discuss the findings of the U.S. Department of Justice patterns and practice investigation into the Baltimore Police Department.

The meeting will take place Wednesday evening at Westminster Hall in Baltimore.

The meeting is open to the public. Residents are encouraged to attend the meeting and share their experiences of interactions with the police, and weigh in on possible solutions moving forward.
