BALTIMORE - Police have identified the woman killed in the white SUV in yesterday's North Baltimore crash as Angel Chiwengo.
Chiwengo, 46, was working as a house-keeper in a Baltimore area hotel to get herself on her feet. She immigrated to Baltimore from the Republic of the Congo to be closer to her children.
Chiwengo's daughter gave birth to her first child the same day Chiwengo died.
A co-worker was driving her home when his SUV was hit by a car driven by 26-year-old Devell Johns and 28-year-old Terrell Young – two men who were fleeing from police . Johns and Young were both killed in the crash.
The driver of the SUV, who has not yet been identified by Baltimore City police, is in critical condition at an area hospital.
