A woman is dead and two other people injured after a triple shooting in Baltimore Friday afternoon.

The woman, 60-year-old Shirley Johnson of the 2300 block of Aiken Street, was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 40-year-old woman and a 45-year-old man were also injured, according to Baltimore Police.

The shooting happened around 12:40 p.m. in the 2300 block of Aiken Street in the area of Darley Avenue. Police say it happened in and around an end house at that corner.

Police believe there was some kind of dispute in the area Thursday night that ended in an arrest, and that the shooting may have been related to that dispute.

"We believe that people know who the shooter is. There's a murderer out there right now who took the life of a 60-year-old woman who, at this point, might not be involved in this scenario," Police spokesman T.J. Smith said.
