A four-year-old boy has died after shooting himself in the head in southwest Baltimore, police said.
Details are few, but police confirm the child was taken to an area hospital after shooting himself with a gun in the home at 450 Athol Avenue. He died at the hospital.
Police Spokeswoman Det. Nicole Monroe said the child's death is the result of a "tragic accident."
Police are investigating.
