BALTIMORE - A pair of pit bulls whose owner was forced by his landlord to give them up , might soon have a new home; albeit a temporary one.
Officials from the Baltimore Area Rescue and Care Shelter said Sasha, 15, and Bear, 14, are going to a temporary foster home Wednesday afternoon while the shelter makes sure every option possible is explored to keep them with their family.
Since ABC2 News told Sasha and Bear's story, BARCS said support has been pouring in for the animals from all over the area. The shelter is trying to help the dogs' original owner find an apartment that will allow hi to take the dogs. If not, BARCS said they have been flooded with calls from people who expressed interest in adopting the pair.
