PHOTOS: 'Beautiful Walls for Baltimore' mural arts exhibit at School 33 Art Center

"Beautiful Walls for Baltimore" is a multimedia arts exhibit celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Baltimore Mural Program

The exhibit documents the history and evolution of Baltimore's mural arts program, from its inception in 1975 to its influence on young artists of today.

Original and re-created murals, films and photography are on display at the exhibit, highlighting some of the artists who have painted the more than 250 murals produced by the program. 

"Beautiful Walls for Baltimore" closes on Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016. The exhibit is located at School 33 Art Center, 1427 Light Street. Gallery hours are Wednesday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
